I see them on etsy often, but I bought mine at a thrift store. Kinda impulse buy but I love them

The ones from earlier generations usually go for a fiver on ebay so it was a bit over but if you're happy with your furby that's all that matters! :]

I've found quite a few over the years but tbf I do hunt for them. I guess it depends where you live though! For some reason the uk has a lot of 1998's! XD On ebay yeah But I have found ones for £1 or 50p at car boots and charity shops. I have a lot of experience hunting for furbs though so I get the struggle, though I've got a lot of my collection for cheap! :]

I remember the seller saying this was the rarest furby ever (i knew they were probably trying to make up a story or were inexperienced or something) even though they believed 35 pounds was fair and were quite sure it was a very rare furby, i decided to take it as i live in America and had never seen an actual 1998 furby for sale, and thrift stores are rare where i live, either having hundred dollar designer clothes or worn dirty fisher-price baby toys, no inbetween where furbies may be, and i just can't seem to find them either

I had bought this furby in the UK and looking at UK ebay i realized that furbies there are often much cheaper, yet many don't ship to US and have high fees if so, which is a shame. after some research, I found that in the US ebay furbies are often $40 in the low end, and that's if they're likely not working

I gave this furby i bought a little bow too, i'm very happy with them despite the price being a little bit high :] and i'd love another, but i can't find any good place that ships without high price or high fees

That's nowhere near true, that'd probably be the furby prototypes, the skunk furby you got is from the first generation of 1998 furbys which the ones that were the most heavily mass produced. Gosh, are furbys really that hard to find in america? Yeah, they are usually cheaper over here and more abundant, I'm not quite sure why. Jeez, that's a real shame! Aww, how cute! It is lovely dressing up your furbys, some of mine I got custom onzies for! :D Well I'm glad that you're happy with your new fuzzy friend. I'm actually going to be getting furbys from a big job lot hopefully in the future so I could prob send you one of them for a good pice if you wanted! I'd be happy to help out another furby fan! ^w^
