DJ Furby Furblets

This is an updated post of the post I made yesterday when I opened up Rain-Bow-Kat. This is the Pepp-Oh-Roni I bought to customize and fix Rain-Bow Kat, who now has a better speaker and works good. A few things I found out about the DJ Furblet while skinning it were that its back in is held in by a few clips, and have to be pulled out to access two screws to release its back feet. Its ears are two separate pieces, and are held in by a pice of plastic that has a clip on each side. Only one has to be undone. The clips holding its face on are thicker than a regular Furblets face clips. Their circuit boards are smaller than a regular Furblets board and there is a separate one in the back which is the one that tells it how much to speed up when stretched.

Edit: forgot to mention that when their fur is inside out, it feels more durable than a regular Furblets fur. It’s feels thicker and because of that, I don’t see the fur becoming loose around the faceplate like what happened to some of my regular Furblets where the fur became loose around the heart gem and the inner shells were exposed.

I wasn’t going to do this originally, but my Rain-Bow-Kat’s speaker is slowly dying. It’s been defective since I got it, where it would randomly produce some distorted noises while playing some lines and snoring. Now it’s super quiet and gets distorted while playing music. So, I decided to replace its speaker with one from one of my Custom Furblets. Upon opening I found out the speaker was smaller than I thought, so I can’t replace it unless I decided to make a DJ Furblet custom one day (I really don’t want to replace Rain-Bow-Kat) But even though he can’t be fixed right now, I did get some pictures of his internals

I might have to get some more pictures sometime, probably when I get a speaker to fix him.

Edit: forgot to mention that my Pepp-Oh-Roni also had the same speaker issue and distortions could be heard during its song and instrumental song when he laughed. Unlike Rain-Bow-Kat, Pepp-Oh-Roni ended up fixing himself and no longer gets distorted. Also since this happened, maybe I’ll decide to make a Baby Rainbow DJ Furby custom, similar to my Baby Purple and Baby Gold Glam Furblets. I still have the old fur from the Christmas DJ Furby custom, I could use that for the Furblet, and I don’t have the hair since I used it for the DJ Furby, so I would have to get a second Pepp-Oh-Roni to make the custom.

Edit: He’s getting fixed today. I’m going to get a second Pepp-Oh-Roni to make the Baby Rainbow DJ Furby custom. I’m also making permanent templates of DJ Furby’s fur, so I can use the fur I have for the custom.

Rain-Bow-Kat, Kitt-Ee-Luv, Berry-Cup-Cake, and Can-Dee-Swirl are now releasing tomorrow. Pepp-Oh-Roni remains the same (I think the reason Pepp-Oh-Roni is still listed for releasing on August 1st, is due to them getting listed on Amazon later than the other five.)
