Okay, I did a bit more additional digging, and it turns out Series 10 photos also existed on the Furby site once, as discovered on this site:

Unfortunately, it seems that the first archived date for each image link was in 2002, shortly after the Furby site and its assets were taken offline. However one of the archived versions of the site above had this image on it (which would be flipped horizontally and used on the chart), so maybe this is what the “thumbnail” photos looked like.

Yes the chart is fanmade, I did a ton of backtracking and it turns out that Series 8, 9, and Babies 5 had hidden pages on the official Furby website:

(Change page number to 9 For Series 9, and 500 for Babies Series 5)

It appears that when the site used to work properly, clicking any of the checkboxes would update the Collection/Wish List box in the top right to display the Furby’s name.

Series 10 is the only one where it seems the photos and names were apparently sourced from somewhere else. The “credible sources” in question however are likely from really obscure pages or within an old group/message board that no longer exists. (Except the Lion Furby’s image, that’s straight from the Toy Fair 2000 catalog. However the chart predates any ebay listings of the catalog, so where they got it from at that time is still unknown)

Ocean Furby is intentionally separate from Ocean Ripples because Hasbro officially distinguished them as such. Ocean was listed as part of Series 9 while Ocean Ripples was placed in Series 10.

If anything, the version numbers on Ocean Ripples’ page should be switched around. Given the final design with the teal faceplate had electronics while the other didn’t, it’s likely that the Ocean and Fish concepts were designed together, Ocean was the one chosen to be produced, and then had its design spun off in order to make Ocean Ripples.

The batteries could be nearly dead. These Furbies don’t glitch out on low batteries like on older ones, the motor speed just gradually goes slower and slower until it borderline doesn’t move anymore. It will still attempt to run and just restart immediately if the batteries finally get too low for it to handle.

Literally the only thing that’s off is the faceplate, everything else is accurate to the real thing. (The location of the red fur varies on each one) The only explanation is that the front portion of the shell was swapped out for a white one at some point.

It's technically still considered a preorder, if you scroll down to view the extra product information, you can see the release date is still set to August 1st. There's a chance they might randomly go back in stock one more time before release, I've seen them do it before with some Transformers figures in the same price range.

I remember seeing this listed once on Mercari some months back (Can't seem to find the listing in question anymore though) but I remember the description specifying the tummy was dyed, which the top comment of the linked Reddit post also mentions.

It was intentional intervention. All the stock photos of the thing show the glitter as if it's supposed to be sprinkled on top of the plastic and blatantly visible even from a distance, so if it's supposed to be actual glitter then its so unnoticeable that I and many others (Yes, I'm not alone in this belief) would say it's still false advertising and doesn't count.

As for my personal theory. there's also some other Furblets that have the same type of thing you're describing (Luv-Lee, May-May, Star-Lee, Hoo-Lah, and most of the clear plastic clips) but I personally see it as more being a side effect of how shiny the color choice of the plastic is rather than intentional faint glitter. (Probably cheaper to use a plastic material that doesn't look as solid inside when a flashlight is put up against it)

I was getting ready to reply to the comment you sent last night, but I guess I’ll deal with it here instead;

Everybody knows the Furby has a Red Light/Green Light game, but that has nothing to do with what I’m talking about. In terms of the Test Mode, that entire section is dedicated to voice recognition. The “Red Light” and “Green Light” phrases are being used as keywords for whatever voice responses it’s expecting, which only the people in charge of testing the Furbies back then would’ve had a document listing what they’re supposed to mean. The actual game doesn’t use the voice recognition feature at all, hence why its purpose isn’t clear in context of the Test Mode.

Officially it's "First-Last", problem is there was someone without an account that was constantly fighting the change with no way of communication.

They haven't tried doing it again since 4 days ago, and I do wish to finally update the page titles to the proper capitalization, but I want to make sure that whoever the random is doesn't come back for the sole purpose of manually ruining every single one again.

If you're talking about that import screenshot that was on the page, the "proof" circled was referring to a pack of orange Nerf gel pellets, not an orange Furblet. The Furblet is almost guaranteed to be for Halloween 2025, so there's going to be no real photos or listings for quite a long time.
