On March 29th of 2000, a Furby event was held in front of the Kiddy Toys location in Harajuku, Tokyo to celebrate the release of Furby Baby in Japan.[1] The event's main feature was an egg with an inflatable Furby inside, that a nurse would occasionally check on before a countdown. Once the countdown commenced, the Furby Baby inside the egg would inflate and hatch the egg.
A walk-around costume of a Furby Baby was also present at the event.
It is believed that Furby merchandise was either sold at the event or at the store itself, as in some photos people are seen carrying Furby Merchandise such as bags at the event.

- The Furby Baby presented as the inflatable and walk-around is a Generation 1 Baby Pink Furby Baby.
- This location is the same one where the original Furby was released in Japan, making it comparable to FAO Schwarz in New York.
