The 2019 "McFurby" is a reissue of the original 1998 McDonald's Furby toy released in 1999. It only came in one color (refer to photo) and was for a limited time at select McDonald's locations. The item was released at McDonald's stores in October 2019.
It was released in a retro series alongside reissues of Ty Beanie Babies, Tamagotchi, and more.
Happy Meal 40th Anniversary[]
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Happy Meals, McDonald's released remakes of older versions of individual happy meal toys, which were available from November 7th to November 11th. The Happy Meal release included one of the variations of the McDonald's 1999 Furby toys. This version appears to resemble a series 2 number 7 McDonald's Furby, though it has slight differences in the design, most likely so the two versions aren't confused for each other. On its packaging, it states it's from 1998, even though the first McDonald's Furbys weren't released until 1999. Other toys in this release included:

Trivia[]
- Certain changes were made to the 2019 re-release to differentiate it from the 1999 McFurby it was based off of, such as the very subtle change in paint color and the softness of its hair.
