In 2021, Afterpay released a TikTok collaborative event where users can ask a Furby for suggestions on which products to buy in real-time. The aim is to get help for giving gifts to people who are impossible to buy for.[1] In the TikTok videos, a real Furby is used. There was also a model used for advertisements.
The Furby is a custom and has unique fur. It's fur is fluffy and mint green, with a white tummy. The logo for Afterpay has been sewn onto the tummy. It's hair tuft and tail puff are custom; it is white and very large and poofy. It's ears appear to be sewn with fluffy mint green ear backs and felt lime green inner ears. It's feet are the same lime green. It's eyes are green. It says it's name is Toh-Loo, meaning Like.
In the TikTok videos, the Furby replies to gift questions with a default TikTok female voiceover.
