The Kid Cuisine Talking Buddy has blue body fur. It has bright yellow tummy fur, and a mane composed of red and yellow stripes. The buddy faceplate is white. It has red feet, green ear insides, blue ear backs, and white eyelashes.

Only two known giveaways for the KC Furby Buddy exist. For both giveaways, only one Furby per household was permitted.
Important
- It's unconfirmed if "2001" was a typo on the forms for the first giveaway. If this was not an error, the first giveaway would have lasted longer than the second giveaway. The year "2001" in the offer's expiry date is mentioned in multiple newspapers.
- Due to how the transcript for the newspaper page advertising the Kid Cuisine Furby is messy, the expiry date for the second offer is unconfirmed.
Giveaway 1[]
You needed fill an order form to obtain the Kid Cuisine Buddy. When filling the form, you were required to send $3.50, three Kid Cuisine proofs of purchase and a dated cash register receipt with the purchase price circled. Requests were to be received before the 31st of March, 2001.[1] Newspapers which advertised this giveaway were dated 30 January, 2000.[1][2]
Giveaway 2[]
In this giveaway, you could request a Kid Cuisine Furby Buddy or the Kid Cuisine Furby. According to a newspaper by The Charlotte Observer which is dated 16 February, 2000, you were required to send five UPC symbols and a dated cash register receipt with the purchase price circled to obtain the Kid Cuisine Furby Buddy. Ten UPC symbols would need to be sent instead to obtain the Kid Cuisine Furby. Requests were to be received before June 15, 2000 (date unconfirmed).[3]
