Furby Adventure Board Game

A card-based board game where you help Furby get home. It was released in 1999.

Gameplay[]

"Help Furby get home!"

You play as a 1998 Furby, and a choice of either Skunk, Church Mouse, Leopard, Witch's Cat, Snowball and Wolf. Your goal is getting your Furby home to the Furbyland cloud in the center of the board. It is similar to Snakes and Ladders, except instead of rolling a dice, a colored cloud card is picked up, and you must move to the nearest cloud space of that color. When landed on a rainbow cloud space, you must slide down the rainbow, which may put you further back or forwards to the end space.

There are two gamemodes. In the "easier" gamemode, the extra cloud tokens with words are not used. Only the colored cloud cards and the rainbow cloud spaces come into play. In the "older children" gamemode, there are blue cloud tokens, black cloud cards, and rainbow cloud cards. The tokens and the black cloud cards will have instructions in either Furbish or English. Examples of instructions include "Switch places with another player" and "Move ahead of the leader". The blue cloud tokens are random placed face-down over the blue cloud spaces on the board, and when landed on, you must do as the instructions say. The black and rainbow cloud cards are mixed into the other cloud cards. When a black cloud card is picked up, you must do what the instructions say. If a rainbow cloud card is picked, move to the next rainbow cloud ahead. Near the end, if a cloud card is picked and there are no spaces left with that color, you move to the finish space.
