Gold Furby is an unproduced prototype 1998 Furby that would have been a special edition.

Appearance

Version #1

This Furby has golden fur with reflective hairs, beige ears, white feet and inner ears, a shiny beige faceplate, a golden head tuft, and pink eyes.

Version #2

This Furby has golden fur with reflective hairs, golden-brown ears and feet, golden-brown inner ears, a shiny golden faceplate, a tan head tuft, and blue eyes.

Trivia

• Both versions have reflective hair in their fur. The only other Furbys with this are Angel Furby, Crystal Furby Baby, Champagne Furby and Gold Glam Furby.
• The second version is owned by Furby Man, who purchased it for $500 USD on eBay in November 2022.
• Version #2 contains electronics but Version #1 does not.
  • Most prototypes do not contain electronics because they exist mainly for color testing rather than functionality testing.
