Jetta[]

Jetta Co., Ltd. is a Chinese toy manufacturer based in Guangzhou, China. It was one of the most prominent Furby vendors, responsible for producing a large share of the 1998 original Furbys, Furby Babies, as well as later versions including Furby 2005, Furby Boom, Furby Connect, the 2023 Furby revival, and DJ Furby.

Furby Involvement[]

Jetta produced Furbys under the internal vendor code C022. Earlier units often carry the two-letter legacy code JT.

Known Codes[]

  • JT — Legacy vendor code
  • C022A, C022B, C022E, C022G — Vendor + Factory codes

Factories[]

Jetta operated several known facilities:

  • Lanhe Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou
  • Conghua District, Guangzhou

Notes[]

Some collectors report that Jetta-produced Furbys have slightly higher mechanical failure rates compared to those from other vendors, particularly in later releases. 1998 Jetta-produced Furbys can sometimes have bad grease which causes the Furby to slow down, or start screeching loudly.
