Millennium Furby Version 1 is a 1998 Furby that is a special edition. It was released in August, 1999 and was exclusive to Shopko in the U.S. It is version one of the two Millennium Furbys.
Appearance[]
The Millennium Furby has silver body fur. It has dark blue stomach fur, and a white hair tuft and white tail. The faceplate is white. It has white feet, blue ear insides, silver ear backs, and white eyelashes. It also has a silver, silky ribbon around its waist that reads "Millennium Furby". This Furby shares its blue and silver coloring with Year 2000 Furby.

This Furby can come with a purple tag that has a photo of itself or a silver tag that is also used on the second version of the Millennium Furby. The purple tag claims 50,000 V1 Millennium Furbys were made in total, however, this contradicts information from the official Furby website which claims 30,000 units were made.[1] The silver tag features a photo of the second version of the Millennium Furby and shows the total number of V1 and V2 Millennium Furbys made which is 250,000.
Trivia[]
- This version was previously called World Trade Center Furby because of a rumor which claims 5,000 of them were sold in Windows On The World gift shop inside the World Trade Center, though this has not been confirmed by any sources. No evidence exists of it being sold there.
- Despite the official Furby website's claim, it's unknown how many V1 Millennium Furbys were made for certain.
- Though the official Furby website claims this Furby was exclusive to Shopko, this Furby was sold in Japan by Tomy.
