Mohair Furby Babies are a group of unproduced 1999 Furby Baby prototypes that may have been made to test hairstyles and colors.

Eagle[]

This Furby, also known as "Two-Tone Snail" and tagged as "Style #1," has swirled beige-and-white multicolored fur, light-tan ears, white feet and inner ears, a light-tan faceplate, a white head tuft, and brown eyes. As it has no electronics, its beak is permanently open. A note on the back of the tag reads "Eagle?" and suggests that it's the baby version of the Eagle Furby, which is also unproduced.

Curly[]

This Furby, tagged as "Style #5," has curly brown multicolored fur, gingerbread-brown ears, white feet and inner ears, a gingerbread-brown faceplate, a white head tuft, and green eyes. As it has no electronics, its beak is permanently open.

Super[]

This Furby, tagged as "Style #6", has lush dark-brown fur, gingerbread-brown ears, white feet and inner ears, a dark-brown faceplate, a white head tuft, and green eyes. As it has no electronics, its beak is permanently open.

Straight[]

This Furby, tagged as "Style #10," has straight dark-brown fur, brown ears, white feet and inner ears, a dark-brown faceplate, a white mane, and green eyes. As it has no electronics, its beak is permanently open.

Trivia[]

  • There may be as many as ten mohair prototypes created due to the styles going up to 10, but only four are confirmed to exist.

    • On October 16, 2024, it was originally listed on eBay for $3,000 USD (which lowered to $2,900 USD in December 2024) and is still for sale.
  • None of them contain electronics.[3]
    • Most prototypes do not contain electronics because they exist mainly for color testing rather than functionality testing.
