Papara (パパラ in Japanese) is a 1998 Furby knock-off which was made by Playheart Company., Playheart Company., Limited, the same company that made Tonkuri. This Furby fake, like many other Furby fakes, speaks Furdish.
Appearance[]
Papara looks similar to a Furby, but with a pair of paws near its tummy, white long fur surrounding its face, and a pair of ears with two pointed tips. There are also variations in its foot design. Blue Paparas and pink Paparas are known to have human-like feet with 5 toes, but white Paparas with orange fur and brown Paparas have 3-toed paws tipped with black claws. Papara may come in the colors blue, pink, or tan. The ears are a darker color than the rest of the toy, and its face plate, hands and feet are beige.
