Not to be confused with Fish Furby.
Red Snapper is an unproduced prototype 1998 Furby for Generation 10.[1] There are three versions.
Appearance[]
Version #1[]
This Furby has red and black multicolored fur, black ears, silver feet, light blue inner ears, a white belly, a white faceplate with yellow eyelids, a white mane, an orange beak, and neon blue eyes. As it has no electronics, its beak is permanently open.
Version #2[]
This Furby has red and black multicolored fur, black ears, white feet, white inner ears, a white belly, a white faceplate and mane, and purple eyes.
Version #3[]
This Furby has red multicolored fur, black ears, white feet, light blue inner ears, a white belly, a white faceplate with yellow eyelids, a white mane, an orange beak, and neon blue eyes.
Trivia[]
- Its tag contains the print "Fish 2" as well as a note reading "Red Snapper."[2]
- This makes it the second version of Fish Furby, implying that the Red Snapper Furby is a model of Fish Furby that was closer to finalization; Red Snapper, a type of fish, seems to just be a nickname because of the color.
- Version #1 is owned by Leigh Mcnasty.[3]
- Version #3 is owned by Alex Bickmore.[4]
- Version #1 does not contain electronics,[7] and the status of the other two is unknown.
- Most prototypes do not contain electronics because they exist mainly for color testing rather than functionality testing.
