Wise OwlInteractive Toy (мудрая сова интерактивная игрушка in Russian) is a Russian 2005 Furby knock-off made in 2007 by Multi-Pulti. It was based off a character named Sova from the Russian version of Winnie the Pooh.
It has eyes which look slightly similar to a 2005 Furby's eyes and a pointed beak made from plastic. It also bears some features in common with the 1998 Furby's. Wise owl has a set of brown ears, wings, and a brown tuft of fur on its head. Its eyelids are black. It also has a removable red hat on its head.
Other Features[]
Wise Owl comes with a raspberry that can be used to feed it. It also has a voice of its own and can only speak Russian.
Trivia[]
Sova from the Russian Winnie the Pooh animation series.
Some of the box art for Wise Owl is very similar to a 2005 Furby's box art.
Characters from the Russian version of Winnie-the-Pooh can be seen on Wise Owl's box.
A prototype version of this fake can be seen on one side of its box. This prototype version has a yellow stomach instead of a brown one.
The company has distributed many other toys based off characters from different franchises such as Shrek, My Little Pony, and Cheburashka.
The company has also distributed other goods such as craft supplies and soaps.
According to the company's official website, Multi-Pulti distributes licensed products, not bootlegs. Though the company might have received permission to create a toy based off Sova, the toy's design and features are very similar to those of Furby.
Strangely, Wise Owl's base has the name of another company called ABL Innovation. This is the same company which made another Furby fake called Baby Birdy Bird. Multi-Pulti's logo does not appear on Wise Owl's base.
