The Wolf Furby is the name given to a 1998 Furby from Generation 1. It was released in October, 1998.

Appearance[]

This Furby has blotched gray-and-brown body fur and gray stomach fur alongside a gray hair tuft and mane. Its faceplate is cream with cream eyelids and black eyelashes. It has orange feet, pink inner ears and blotched gray-and-brown ear backings.

Trivia[]

  • The fur texture of Wolf is identical to that of Church Mouse Furby.
  • This Furby was released with slight modifications three times, which are known as Fresh New Look Furbys. The modified Furbys are named Sunrise Furby, Moon Furby, and Midnight Wolf Furby.
  • This Furby had a 2001 re-release, with an orange box, an updated story on the paper tag, a purple plastic tag, and some more eye colors outside of the usual brown, blue or green, including silver, neon green, and neon blue. Internally, it also featured the Deep Sleep mode and additional phrases found on Furbys from Generation 2 and later.
  • This Furby was officially referred to as Wild Wolf (ワイルドウルフ) or Black Ash in Japan, while the Churchmouse Furby was officially referred to as Wolf (ウルフ)[1]
  • This furby appeared in the movie ''The Mitchels Vs the Machines'' along with the Church Mouse Furby, Witch’s Cat Furby, Snowball Furby, Skunk Furby, and Leopard Furby.
  • The fabric used on the base of the wolf Furbys, where a zip tie is inserted to secure the skin, comes in three different colors:
    •      GE Factory Wolf Furby’s have Light Gray fabric.
    •      RL and WT Factory Wolf Furby’s have White fabric.
    •      JT Factory Wolf Furby’s have tan fabric
